I haven't gotten any yet, but it's bound to happen sooner or later (probably sooner, given the nature of my forthcoming book). Yours is actually pretty funny--assuming it isn't a spoof, I'm guessing the writer is about twelve. Which is not to say that all adults get the basic conventions of fictional writing; they don't.

I posted over there. Thanks for an amusing blog. And, of course, we're offended by abusive comments. Writers are fair game for abuse like film stars but without the income to hire good lawyers.

I've gotten a couple--not as strong as yours. I told myself that, really, it was good, I had inspired a strong emotion. (Much better than the ones that say, "Your book is boring and I've stopped reading it, are you always this boring?")
