Good morning to everyone and welcome to TGIF. I have much going on here so let’s get right to it, shall we? Laurie Bowler will be my guest today along with Lorre Lough on The G-ZONE, my blogtalk radio show, starting at 4pm EST. I also have two more posts coming at you today: Michael Koryta’s “The Ridge” and J.W. Baccaro’s “Siege of Darkness”. To today;s post Fangs, Inc. ! Laurie Bowler is the lead author in this latest installment of the series. It is a fun, straight up vampire story with a serious twist: the vampires that think they are in control, well ,they really aren’t. I get to turn the tables on them G.S.I. style( for those of you that may not know, that stands for Gelati’s Scoop Investigations, a worldwide group of do gooders dedicated to keeping us all safe from whatever the bad guys are planning on throwing at us.).
I have been allowed to give out this information as to what is going to go on with one title, it comes straight from the highest of the high: this is going to be a series within this series. Why? How? Here you go: Werner Lind, author of The Gift and Lifeblood, is also an author that has vampire characters. I am working with him right now as I write this on our collaboration. How does that impact Fangs,Inc.? Easy, probably easier said than done, but we are going to give it a try, we are going to cross these two very different vampire worlds with different traits and characteristics by these two authors and see what comes of it. Now in the meantime, I as the foil, am going to dish out as much punishment as I can, believe me when I say that. As to how many stories we are going to create I have no idea, I personally can see this going on for a while. My suggestion is to keep up with us; enjoy each story as each one stands on its own, and if you want I am always open to suggestions. Email me and give me a few ideas, hit me, and I will see if we can effort it.
Here is the synopsis for Fangs, Inc.:
“The ninth installment of The Author’s Lab/Collaboration series takes another twist and goes in a very different direction this time…Vampires. Laurie Bowler takes the reins and put together an action packed, tense, moving read. When was the last time you got a good read on a vampire story where we humans got the upper hand on the vampires and tortured them for information? This is going to be a franchise within The Author’s Lab as we have a few more surprises in store for you, our favorite people, our readers! Check it out; this is just the beginning of an amazing series to come.
Laurie Bowler resides in Hampshire, a county located in the United Kingdom where she started writing fantasy fictions and romantic novels in 2009. She finds it fascinating to create stories, detailing emotions and brings the book’s characters to life. After reading hundreds of romance novels, she knew she wanted to write romance within the fantasy storyline, as she finds them both fascinating and adventurous hence where the first idea came to write such stories.
Her novels have been awarded "best read" in numerous book sites.
Laurie Bowler lives with her daughter, whom she loves to spend time with along with two cats and two parrots.
Her writing credits include:
Serena Embracing Darkness, Moon Rising, The Depths of Darkness, Sunrise to Sunset, Vanquished , and The Across The City series of digital short stories.”
