I am pretty sure that I have title correct with the two g’s and the two d’s. Different title, different novel. I ran into Lee Pletzers over at Book Town, a nice place and a nice community. Go to my blog and press the button for it and join, give it a whirl and have some fun. Back to the novel at hand: threw me a curve amongst all the conspiracy theory, action novels I have been reading of late. This is a sci-fi, paranormal, horror, and few other categories. Just file it under good if you are trying to label it, if you don’t have this already, place into the –to read- category and get it when you want to take a one eighty for a bit. Here is the synopsis; I think you will read what I mean:

“If you like: demons, hell, a deal with a shadow, revenge, powerful Elders, a distraught farmer from 27BC, an agent who can’t express his feelings, wormholes, a massive battle against good and evil, and more, then The Armaggeddon Shadow was written for you. The book takes place within 24 hours and is told in real time.

2007, Agent Baxter pursues the entity, Darkness, following an accident that slew Doctor Hayden’s wife and son. Dr. Hayden studied the Darkness without realizing it was studying him. Shadows, however, have a way of vanishing into light and the entity flees the compound where Hayden thought it was contained.

In 27 B.C. a peaceful man’s family is slaughtered, turning his life upside down and bringing forth a leader. A leader who will drive an army into the bowels of hell for vengeance.

A battle rages leaving many slaughtered and painting the fields red. Darian is captured and in a show of power, the Elders blind him. He is buried in the sand awaiting the cold ocean to wash away his breath. At the moment of his death, he offers his soul to the dark gods of the underworld for revenge which is granted swift and deadly.

Thrown from his stead on his return to Hell, Darian crawls out of the blackness and into the modern world under the new name of Darkness and carrying an infection. An infection that will take mankind to a new level of evolution.

The Elders’ bloodline continues still. With the infection spreading on both sides, Darkness and the Elders have rebuilt their army for a final war.

This title was published by Panic Press, a horror publisher based in the UK. However, they do not release ePub or Sony versions. As a hardcore believer in ePub, I have been permitted to release the ePub and Sony version here. Only ePub and Sony. All Dead Tree versions and Kindle Versions are at their website”

I really enjoyed the time element and what it added to the story telling. It made the action that much more frantic. I am just getting a groove on the horror genre, but this was at a whole new level for me. Hardcore and serious stuff that at times expanded my brain a bit, not for the faint of heart, but I guess for horror aficionados that is a compliment. Give this work a chance. Get it out of the shadows and help throw some light on it, it deserves the time of day.

 Things have changed around here.
