Summer

I'm new to Crimespace, so I'll start with an introduction. Currently I am a virtual elementary teacher and writer. I have nothing published, but the novel that I am working on has won an award at the Heartland Writers Guild conference. Now I just have to finish it! The novel is a mystery/thriller, but I love to write young adult, paranormal, fantasy, and urban fantasy. If I'm in the mood, I'll write a little horror; it's pretty formulaic, but I have to get it out of my system.
Summer us almost here, which means it's time to get down to some serious writing. My plan is to set up a schedule, stick with it, and finish my novel by the end of the summer. Hopefully writing will take the place of my day job all summer. In three months I want to submit my first novel to an agent.
