Hey we have a busy week ahead and I thought it would be a good idea to let you in on what is planned. We are going to have a strong September as we are getting many requests to look at novels from various types
of authors; it is fun. Here is our tentative posting schedule for this week:
Wednesday- C.J. Box up first and then later in the day, a guest post by Dean DeLuke.
Thursday- Richard Doestsch’s latest novel The Thieves of Darkness and then in the evening our Blast From The Past with a novel by Stephen Colbert.
Friday- Graphic Novel Friday and a serious triple header with the Silver Surfer, Escape From Terra, and Chicagoland.
Saturday- Digital Short Saturday brings us to two digital shorts by Jason McIntyre and Tor Richardson.
Sunday – this is new and we are excited, Self Published Sunday. We are going to feature John C. Stipa’s No Greater Sacrifice and JC Marino ‘s Dante’s Journey for our first day out with this.
I think that is a pretty good start to the month of September. We are going to be mixing in some new and different things with all of this so stay tuned and don’t be surprised if there are a few surprises. We
are expanding our content and with that we are hoping to bring you more and
varied novels as well as authors of interest. Hopefully we will be able to help
you discover “new” talent as we move forward with the promotion of the self-published
authors. We, to date, have been posting on material that has been done by those
that are self-published, but in an effort to draw more attention and support
for them we are going to highlight them with a special day.
My expectation is that you do what you have been doing all along and that is to support those that are making the jump into the publishing field and if you think their work is worthy, purchase it and make that known. I
have found that these authors are extremely accessible and willing to interact with
the reader. Go to their blogs, their websites, their author pages on
Smashwords, Goodreads, Amazon and engage them. I think you will enjoy the
dialogue and it will enhance your purchasing experience as you put a face, a
voice and the motivation behind their hard work. The other thing I have tried
to do to make it easy for you is to put the book cover right there for you so
all you need to do is click on it and follow through with the purchase or to
pre- order novels of interest. Right from our Gelati’s Scoop page you can shop
all that is Amazon without having to navigate away from it and come right back
and go on with the day: Support, Support and Fun.
One other thing I would like to note. You can follow us in a variety of places, Twitter will carry the links and announcements of the blog, Goodreads has our reading schedule and updates, and we have our new Facebook Fanpage;
click the like button. We are shifting gears; thanks for being with us thus far.
I hope that you come along with us as we move on to another level.
What are you reading today? Check us out and become our friend on Facebook & Linkedin. Go to Goodreads and become our friend there and suggest books for us to read and post on. You can also follow
us on Twitter, and the Gelati’s Scoop Facebook Fan Page. Did you know you can
shop directly on Amazon by clicking the Gelati’s Store Tab on our blog? Thanks for stopping by today; We will see you
tomorrow. Have a great day.
