Good to see you here Lee.

I loved your book on criminal procedure and your presentation at Crimebake last year was fantastic!

Dear Lee,

After almost 40 years on earth I discovered my ancestry in the (New World) started with the arrival at Plymouth Rock in 1623. If you Google: John Jenney, you will see the family history and accomplishments. I'll be sending you a direct Email about a project that might interest you or a friend.

Hello Lee. Thank you for inviting me to be your friend.
I notice we have quite a few favorite authors in common, but you are the first one I have seen that included Agatha Cristie. Sue Grafton responded to my fan letter. I have been carrying it around since I got it.
I will be reading your book.

I may need to be a full time author. Of course I'll be starving. We're crossing our fingers. Thanks for asking.

Hey Lee, Great to find you on CrimeSpace! (i'm on crimescenewriters, too). Love your Graveyard Shift blog. One of my favorite sites, you're great at what you do, thanks for letting us not-so-knowledgable in on the inner workings of an investigator. Very informative info, i appreciate you!

Sorry to take so long to respond back, Lee. I'm still trying to get the hang of this site. I live in Cedar Downs, which is across from the Maple Valley Golf Course. I just bought your Police Procedure and Investigation book. I'm really excited about it. Looks like it's chalk full of really good information. I was glad to see that I got the ME/coroner information correct in the Amazon Short I submitted a month ago. Was kind of horrified to read that they aren't filtering/boiling the fluids from corpses firstly before introducing them back into the public system. And that episode about the matter splashing onto your face: funny and totally horrific. I would've passed out or screamed firstly and then passed out. (I had skipped ahead.) I'm really looking forward to finishing it. I think it'll be a big help to me in my mystery writing (although I'm writing talking animal detective/cop stories...). Thanks for taking the time to write it and share your expertise with us neophytes.

Each of the trips are mine with the exception of Africa and Colorado (I have been to Colorado several times). Terry Odell shared those with us.

Thankfully, I missed the storm.

Are all of those weekend road trips by you? If so, wow, that's a lot of travel.
Did you get stuck in that crazy storm? It took us almost 10 hours to get down from Baltimore to Duck.

Lee,
Thanks so much for your website. I check it every day and read it constantly. It is an amazing source of information. I was away for a couple of weeks and when I returned I was pleased to find the Outer Banks as the roadtrip. That's where I had just been! And a couple of the photos match ones I took almost exactly.
Nevertheless, thanks for all your work.

Hi Lee:

I'm busy this morning getting all signed up for the Willamette Writers Conference and noticed you are going, too. I'm one of the authors being "raffled" off this year, so have a bio, picture, etc. I have to submit to them. I actually saw you at the conference two years ago and wanted to say "hi" but you looked like you were pretty busy getting set up for your presentation. Hope to meet you this time around, though. I will be arriving on Thursday, for Writers Faire. See you there!

I know Bothell very well! I actually live in north Kirkland and a block away it is Bothell. In fact I lived in Bothell before too. It is always easier to say Seattle though on the internet..no one knows where Kirkland is! How long did you live here and when did you leave?
I know my husband would love to live in Boston..he loves the Red Sox!
