Hello, Kate, thank you for the offer to help me with questions about crimespace. I’m new to this whole social webing thing. I asked this question to Jerry Peterson too, and I was wondering how open the forums are for answering legal questions about hypothetical crimes involving sexual assault, battery, and negligent homicide? I’m trying to authenticate my graphic novel script based on real world facts. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Kate,
Thanks for the welcome! Good to be here. Your blog looks like one I'd visit frequently. The best books I've read have been recommended by friends.
Many thanks for your message - I'll be updating more over the coming week and should be able to participate fully then. Just a few more work things that I have on this week first.
Thanks for the invite to your site, I look forward to sharing my writing experiences with you and other writers.
I know my publishers are sending you a review copy of 'Sinistrari', I hope you like it.
For other readers of the site, 'Sinstrari' is a dark tale of murder and horror set in Victorian London in the time of Jack the Ripper. The Ripper murders figure prominently in the book but another killer also stalking the dark streets of London.
Overwhelming is right, but exciting, welcoming, interesting as well. Thanks so much for emailing me. The site sounds interesting and I will be sure to visit.
Thank you Kate! I've discovered quite a few new writers on the "Stop Your Killing Me" site, but was hoping to find one for discussion. Looks as though I have found it.
Hi Kate,
Looks like you're the official greeter for CrimeSpace. It's on your blog that I found the badge for the CrimeSpace ning group. I've definitely favorited your site, don't worry. My novel crosses lots of genres—suspense, historical fiction, literary, romance, dark humor, thriller—and since those are all the sorts of books you cover, would you like me to send you a copy? You can find out more about the book with a quick glance at http://ThePurplesBook.com. I would love to send it to you, either as hard copy or in eBook form.
All best,
W. K. Berger
Hi Kate,
Thanks for befriending this mystery author on Crimespace! I hope you'll put my books, A Real Basket Case and To Hell in a Handbasket, on your to-read list. They're both readily available in libraries. If you'd like to enter a contest for a free copy of To Hell in a Handbasket, sign up for my email newsletter at: http://bethgroundwater.com/ .
Thanks for the welcome! Since so many of the other writer forums are inundated with YA, fantasy, "Twilight" horror, etc., I am happy to have found this site.
John
Thanks for the welcome. I came here trying to post something onto a Pul Brazill question, so I'm completely unfamiliar.
I also found it brought me a moment of good luck when my number came up at the 'Watery Grave Invitational'. I'd like a bit more of that.
Good to be here.
