I seem to be pretty well organized, 90 per cent packed, including lap top & printer, reference stuff, etc. We've got a two hour ride to the hospital, so we don't have to hit the road till 9:00.
I'll be on the road this week also. Thursday, Ruth & I head to Tampa to hold hands with a friend who's husband is having delicate cancer surgery.
Friday, we'll leave from there for a trip to Tennessee, I have a gig with the Travel Bureau there to write some feature articles on Tennessee Travel. My day job, although---I am getting either more selective, or, lazy about what I do that takes me away from novel writing.
Hey, I just may take you up on that visit. I'm planning a trip west next year.
The movie thingy is something that I won't get too excited about---yet. But, when my dad's old buddy wrote Anatomy of a Murder, I wager that he never dreamed that it would become a major motion picture.
Thanks so much!
Hey, touch base with me if you want reviews with Pop Syndicate. My editor would love it if you -or your publisher - could send some galleys or your latest along for review.
(Sometimes it's weird reviewing books and writing them. But that's a story for another time...)
That sounds exciting, being a panalist. I'm starting full research on working title (Florida Boom). It takes up a period beginning in 1910 through the Depression era bank robbers.
I'm heading north at the end of June, will meander till mid-September. Got a meet with a movie development company in July. What if...?
JD CONGRATS!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you! You've done so awesome! I'm a huge fan of Avon's Suspense line! :-) I can't wait to read your books and keep doing the awesome things you do!
Hey, nice to hear from you. I was pretty stunned to read your profile today: 6 books sold and no on the shelves yet?? What am I doing wrong?
