Can't help you. It's a past participle all right, but it's also slang/colloqial, and I'm not up on recent jargon. Good cover!

Hey, who wouldn't want to hold Fiona's hand? Might be safer to hold both of 'em, however.

Hi Simon-A short description of a book you deem unjustly forgotten or neglected. It can be just a few sentences or more lengthy-whatever feels right to you. I'll post it on my blog the Friday after you send it. My email is aa2579@wayne.edu
Love to have you participate if you have the time. You can see examples at http://pattinase.blogspot.com
Thanks.

Hi Simon-Wondered if you'd be willing to write about a favorite "forgotten" book for my blog project in August. You can find the last three months worth at http://pattinase.blogspot.com
If it's not your thing, I understand. Thanks, Patti

Maybe it's time to revisit some stories from the past.
I almost forgot to put Rex Stout on my list too.
It's probably the late hour at which I find time to get on this site!

Congratulations on your publishing contracts!
I also enjoyed James Cain, but forgot about him until seeing your list.

New Book Deal

I've been flying below the radar for a while. I've had my head down working and the result is a new book. DISGRUNTLED will be my next thriller and it will be hitting bookshelves next April.

Also, I've resurrected one of my old titles, DRAGGED INTO DARKNESS, which has been out of print since 2004. It was my first short story collection and it contains some of my favorite short stories. The book has been hard to find even secondhand, although someone is selling a used… Continue

TV Appearance

I was on Sacramento and Co. It's a morning show on ABC News 10. They talked to me about my books and being dyslexic. You can see the interview here. Enjoy!

Achtung Baby--German Rights Sale!

German publisher, Droemer, has bought the rights to my first two novels, Accidents Waiting to Happen and Paying the Piper. This is my 1st foreign rights sale, so I'm quite pleased, especially as I'm getting paid in euros. :-)

The smaller news is that I have a story appearing in Seattle Noir, part of Akashic's city noir series.
