DK, thanks for the kind review on the book trailer. Good thing I retired, being author and filmmaker is a full time job. I'm glad you like the music. Your reviews on LOST HOURS are on hit! can't wait for my copy. A preview first chapter of FIRST BLOOD is posted online here: http://www.johnnyrussell.net/firstbloodchaptersegment.html
Actually I have not found it difficult at all moving between mystery and romance fiction.
On the mystery side, I can lean on my criminology background to keep my plots credible and suspenseful. On the romance side, as a romantic fellow myself and happily married man, it is easy to write love stories with happy endings. :>)
just getting to know my way around the site. thanks for the request. along with being a new member here i am also a new writer. i'e been writting since i was a kid but only now do i say i've become a writer. it is now, after a couple finished manuscripts, that i claim the title "writer". i have been told my newest short story is a hit and i'm trying to find a way to get the story before the eyes of many. any advice???
Finally joining you in paperback, D.K. Needless to say I'm very excited. Best of luck with the latest novel (and all the back catalogue) and warmest regards from Dixie.
Hi DK! Boneyard is actually Book 2 in the series, (first one is The Tunnels) but it can absolutely be read as a standalone. Thanks for buying a copy, be sure to let me know what you think!
