I'm finishing a science-based thriller entitled Gridlock. It's a techno-thriller involving the human genome and how it threatens the biggest industry in the world.
Born in San Francisco, I post-poned adulthood at U.C. Berkeley. married a British woman in 2005 who left a life of singing opera and acting on stage to become a corporate marketing guru.
I'm father to a thrill-seeking boy named Sebastian Jude. In between juggling diapers and baby food, I dash off a few pages before a java refuel and another trip to the bookstore. My crime writer favorites are the usual suspects.
I've got some new favorite authors I'll mention. Michael Harvey is one. I really recommend the Fifth Floor and his first one, The Chicago Way. Another new discovery for me is veteran mystery author, Bill Pronzini. Of course, an old standby is Michael Connelly, favorites being Echo Park, The Poet and The Overlook. Loved Red Scream by Mary Willis Walker and Mask of Atreus by A.J. Hartley. The Killer's Kiss by William Lashner is very good and it's hard not to like Harlan Coben; my favorite is Tell No One.
Older favorites include: Harlan Coben, Barry Eisler, Daniel Silva, Jere Hoar, Michael Crichton, Ross Macdonald, Robin Cook, Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Killing Zoe, Meet Joe Black, Fractured, The Fifth Element, The Professional, Match Point, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, The Insider, Pride and Prejudice, Notes on a Scandal.
My must see TV is 24, 30 Rock and Project Runway Occasionally.
