Jesus and Mary Chain - April Skies
From 1987, the feedback kings of Scotland (from East Kilbride, just outside Glasgow), this was probably their best known (and definitely highest placed in the charts) single. They split up in 1999 but reunited this year and will be playing one of Scotland's festivals in the summer - yeeha!
