Got a few hours? The Big Sleep, The Blue Hammer, Early Autumn, Farewell My Lovely, Everybody's Dead, The Maltese Falcon, LA Requiem, The Green Ripper, Sleep with Slander, Barney's Version....
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Chinatown, The Maltese Falcon, Murder My Sweet, Casablanca, Duck Soup, Night Moves, The Rockford Files, Harry O, Mom P.I., DaVinci's Inquest, Joe's Apartment, City Lights, The Late Show...
It was there, then it was gone ... have I been censored? Nah. What I said was ... I didn't know your image was on the Molson's bottle ... Watch your language there are ladies present.
You know Kev ... I just don't get the Marx Brothers ... All your other TV and Movies look fine to me, except "L.A. Requiem" which I also didn't get, but I don't know the rest of the series.
An Ex? You must be from Ontario... in Montreal, it was just Molson. Or "Une Mols." And Molson Canadian? Yeah, right. In "la belle province"? It was Laurentide, tabarnaque!
And then the stubbie died, just so we could import watered-down piss like Bud and Miller. I don't think it was worth it.
And now Molson, one of the world's oldest breweries (Take that, Bass!) is owned by Coors, the john Denver of Beers. Talk about depressing...
Just dropped by to say hello.
The Rockford Files? My dad bought a Camaro because of that show - ended up being my first car. I loved that orange monster!
Ladies and germs, it's Chris Mills, back from the Fortress of Solitude, one of the best writers we've ever published. No, really. Go to Thrilling Detective and read his two Matthew Dain P.I. stories. Then come back and tell him to write more.
Yeah, I'm originally a Toronto boy. But don't hold that against me. I'll take a Laurentide in one of those big-ass bottles so popular in la belle province.
I remember, back in the day, La Grand Bock, this great little basement brasserie dive we'd go to right on Ste. Catherine, tucked underneath Woolworth's. It had live bands and great cheap food. And happy hour was quarts, two-for-one.
Unfortunately, Da Vinci's City Hall, which tried to mix both politics and crime) lost about half of the former Canadian audience for Da Vinci's Inquest (U.S. syndication figures probably don't matter). In February 2006, the CBC announced the new show wouldn't be brought back, although negotiations are allegedly underway to reprise the Da Vinci character in a series of TV movies.
Newt! Good to hear from you! I know you're not going to believe this but I accidentally deleted your chatter. Could you please re-post? (The "delete" button" is where my e-mail program has a "reply" button.)
Am I the only one who vets my "friends"? in the last few days, I've had several requests from spammers and wingnuts who have absolutely no interest in crime fiction.
Don't encourage them. Reject them right off. Let's keep crimespace for crime.
I'm also sort of ticked off that some folks change their profile photos -- after being accepted as a "friend" -- to plug their books or whatever product they're selling, turning my page into a billboard.

At least originally i'd heard of most of my friends, but some of these people don't even seem to have bios on their pages.
Why do I suspect I'll be asked about insurance soon?

Not a Molson drinker but one of my friends used to work for them - does that make her family? You take a great photo.

That of course depends on what your definition of "is" is.
(Remember the good ol' days when we were debating the meaniing of "is," not "torture.")

Here's your answer: DaVinci's City Hall.
DaVinci becomes not coucilman but mayor!!!
