I love the way you and Donna have written something good, and yet both deny responsibility! As for Mr Sheen and his polishing, was it Martin or Charlie? Name dropper! Thanks for the add, BTW, much appreciated. Looking forward to the book, too, congratulations on that. :o)

    Hi Tony,

Just stopping by to say hi and thank you for commenting on my page.
  • Victor Gischler

So ... have you ever read any Ken Bruen?
  • Tony Black

I did read a short called Final Tally once...quite a tale.
  • Evil Kev

Congrats on the deal with Random House.

Enjoy your Pulp Pusher interviews, especially the recent Charles Ardai. I felt like I found out a few new things about him.
  • Tom Cain

Just realised I still owe you 500 words. On the way, pal, I swear ...
  • Tom Cain

Just the words, just the words ...
  • Declan Burke

Hi Tony, how's tricks? Cheers for the invite, really appreciated. I'm wondering about this Ken Bruen guy you mention ... is he Irish or something? And he writes books, you say? Gentle fairytales about the wee people, no doubt ... congrats on Paying For It, by the way ... if you want to drop over to Crime Always Pays and fill out a Q&A, I'd be delighted to plug it ... Cheers, Dec
  • Tony Black

Hey John thanks...that's one sale then. Oh dang it, you're a buddy, you can have a free one...that's back to zero sales....what am I doin'?

  • Donna Moore

"It's my parents' fault for calling me IKEA."

    "The railings were full."

"I wanted to see what it felt like to be an arse."

They're crap, sorry Tony! I'm just back from Harrogate and suffering from too little sleep and an ankle the size of Liechtenstein.
  • Sandra Ruttan

Oh no Donna, those are hilarious. Especially #1. It's like some sort of "I didn't want to use the chair, I wanted to be the chair" crap.
  • Tony Black

Donna, Donna...they're top notch, what you on about!! Sorry to hear about the ankle the size of a small western European principality...a friend of mine once had an elbow the size of Gibraltar, not in itself a problem but the accompanying monkeys played havoc with his day job driving fork-lifts at Fyffes.
  • LC Fraser

What? You never saw anyone wearing a chair before?

This is the peak of style where I come from.

I wanted something more attention grabbing than Donna's crutches and Dad wouldn't let me wear Mom's Guccis.

Next year I want to play the tree

Fun idea Tony....and I must confess it was a lame thought but hey..I am just settling in with my first coffee so the brain is not quite....well connected yet.
I have also sent along an invite...from another Bruen fan

Okay, the dog in the shades - too cute! I hate it when animals have better accessories than I do. ;)

    Nice to meet you!
