Hometown:
Whittier
About Me:
I like mystery and thrillers so I teach part-time at an elementary school and have three cats. I'm also an avid bicyclist. I like the speed.
I grew up in Oklahoma before moving to California in 6th grade, accent included. That got me a lot of thrills in school. Just not necessarily the woohoo kind.
I'm married with two sons. One just moved away to college (I'll be all right. The cats took over his room). The other is in 9th grade.
I'm a writer and hope to have a finished novel by Christmas.
I Am A:
Reader, Writer
Books And Authors I Like:
Too many to mention but my newest likes are: Altered Life, The Private Lie, and The Tenth Justice. I also enjoy biographies.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
CSI (Las Vegas), Law and Order CI, House, Stand-Off, Friends, Will & Grace, Fraiser

Coolness! Another reader! Without reader interest, nobody would pay writers for books. We would dry up and vanish like dust in the wind.
I hope you read the excerpts of my books on my website (newtlove.com) and think them interesting enough to read. In the meantime, I am working on novel number 4, a graphic novel with an artist buddy, and my first opera. (I did sell a Cantata to the Annapolis Chorale.) (BTW, I was born in Texas, but grew up in Riverside CA.)
Blessings on your path,
newt

Welcome to the craziness. It's not as scary as people think. Just don't mind the killers in the parlor and the piranhas in the bathtub and you'll be fine.
