Top Withins
Near Haworth where the Brontes lived. It's supposed to be the inspiration for Wuthering Heights. It's a ruin now, but was a working farm as recently as 80 years ago. Not too far from where I live in West Yorkshire.

Visited England for the first time this June.I'm ready to go back again.Castles and cathedrals I couldn't get enough.The way the landscape changes so drasticly in such a short days drive , fantastic.Is it pretty where you live/

Me thinks that cottageliving was a bit too real. I imagine the sod huts on the prairie or the sod homes in Iceland were isolated like that. I may be a small town girl at heart, but I have to have a town!
