I am a freelance writer and crime novelist (the Riley Gavin/Frank Palmer series) and spend my time doing what most writers do... which is surprisingly little - on the surface, at least. You never know what we're thinking about, though...
Any and all crime/thrillers - but especially Robert Crais, Harlan Coben, John Sandford, Nick Stone, Linwood Barclay, Martin Cruz Smith
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Right now, The Wire... although much of what I hear goes by in a jumble. I think it's that Baltimore accent. I gather the only way to deal with this is by serious application of bum to seat in front of the tv.

Thanks, Adrian. Those Russian mobsters do make great villains. I see that you're also a fan of "The Wire" but have trouble deciphering the dialects. Here's a tip -- watch it on DVD and turn on the English language subtitles. Works like a charm. Reece
I read your first book when it first came out, because you very kindly sent me a copy after holding a competition of some kind. Damned if I can remember what it was, though, but I think it was something like a first line question (?) Anyway, I enjoyed the book and we corresponded briefly before you went off and became famous... or something. Nice to hear from you again, anyway.

Cheers, Adrian.
I appreciate that. I've been reading your wise words again in WM and I did start Finders, Weepers (twice) only yo be interrupted by screaming kids! I'll get to it now they're back at school.
I also have a proposition for you, but best done via email. Mine's next to Matt's on the guidelines to the TKnC site.

Thanks, Col - will do. Glad you like them. Thinking of profiled authors, I've just read Tony Black's new one - 'Gutted' - (I profiled him in January's WM) and it's excellent. My review of it will pop up shortly in SHOTS. You heard it here...
Thanks for the enthusiasm!
