Thanks, Adrian. Those Russian mobsters do make great villains. I see that you're also a fan of "The Wire" but have trouble deciphering the dialects. Here's a tip -- watch it on DVD and turn on the English language subtitles. Works like a charm. Reece

I read your first book when it first came out, because you very kindly sent me a copy after holding a competition of some kind. Damned if I can remember what it was, though, but I think it was something like a first line question (?) Anyway, I enjoyed the book and we corresponded briefly before you went off and became famous... or something. Nice to hear from you again, anyway.

I appreciate that. I've been reading your wise words again in WM and I did start Finders, Weepers (twice) only yo be interrupted by screaming kids! I'll get to it now they're back at school.
