I'm the author of two books -- HIDE YOUR EYES (nominated for a 2006 Edgar for best first novel) and YOU KILL ME, both out on NAL/Signet in 2005. My third book, TRASHED (NAL Hardcover) will be out in September, 2007.
Hi Alison,
Thanks for the quick email. Great to be here on CP. I am sure I'll gain loads of insite from all the wonderful authors. What makes this great is feeling like I belong even though still a novice.
Made loads of friends here and a couple who were cops like me, have definately pointed me in the right direction.
One of those things I am considering is maybe going to the SCWC in San Diego next year. It would be my first one and I want to get some first hand experience. Which conferences have you been to? And if you don't mind me asking what did you gain from them. I was just wondering.
I am so glad its finally winter(ish) I love the cold. Gives me a good reason to have a roaring fire. Ok well maybe not roaring but at least the wife and I can cozy up to a crackeling artificail log.
I guess I need to focus on getting somthing ready to bring to the conference as I am sure it would be beneficial for us novice types.
You got anything in the fire right now??
Have a great weekend if I don't catch up to you in the next couple of days.
Michael
