I haven't seen your work, but I always recommend cutting with scalpel, not a machete. No one likes to see that much blood on our pretty white pages. I will add you to my growing TBR pile.

very nice review of my book at: Any ideas on how much impact on-line reviews have or how to enhance impact?

Hi Brian
Congratulations of the success of your debut. I like the title. So appropriate for a criminal mind.

Too many dogs= too little attention. Hate to have the feed bill for over a hundred pooches.

I have two dogs and you have four dogs and I know how much care they need each day. How about a story I heard on radio and you may have heard it too about a lady in Arizona, I believe. A lady lives in a triple wide trailer and she has about 800 dogs...I think I heard that they were mostly small dogs and that she took pretty good care of them. My two keep me on the run during the day and I can't imagine having that many dogs.
We had an instance close by where a couple was trying to take care of 100 dogs and it didn't turn out well. There were many very malnurished and sick.
Just thought I would give you some news from the mainland.

Take care and that is all,

Dickens of a time

Charles Dickens got a boost from his novels serialization in London papers. Bay City Times is giving "Improved Lies" a similar lift. The paper is running an excerpt each Saturday with podcast read by yours truly. Try a free taste
