Hey, Rob,
You still with us here?
Please have a free read of my introductory P.I. crime novel, FOUL SHOT, here on my page. It's set at the beach in North Carolina and involves the killing of a famous women's pro athlete.

Thanks for your service to our country. I love Ken Bruen's work; he is a gentleman fair and square. Just finished reading The Priest. Knocked me back one. My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria. P.S. just posted an excerpt on my Crimespace page.

It's going back a few years (20+) when he was in Mildenhall. I never knew exactly what he was doing, except for a lot of stuff in Bosnia in the 90s. He got fairly high up before he retired... Major General I think. Funnily enough, Uncle Sam was my only American uncle. He was my aunt's second husband - her first was also in the US Air Force (based at Upper Heyford). You won't believe this, but his name was also Sam.

Thanks for the props!

Hey Charlie, great to hear from you, love your work! And that's one hell of a coincidence, that your uncle was stationed at Mildenhall...about five minutes from here. Do you remember what he did for the Air Force?

Hi Rob. My uncle used to be in the US Airforce. I used to go visit him at Mildenhall and Upper Heyford. Also Vogelweh in Germany.

I Am A:
Reader, Writer

Books And Authors I Like:
Too many to name in depth. I've loved every installment in the Hard Case Crime series so far. In regards to new authors: Duane Swierczynski, Ray Banks, Kevin Wignall, Dave White, Allan Guthrie, and a lot of the other guys hanging around here. Some of the older but gooder authors I enjoy: everyone from Ken Bruen to Raymond Chandler, Robert Crais to Robert B. Parker, Michael Connelly to Dashiell Hammett, John Connolly to Andrew Vachss, and dozens more.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Three of the greatest movies of all time are "Heat", "Scent of a Woman", and "Big Trouble in Little China". Hands down. As for movies in general, my taste covers a wide sprectrum of ranges. My favorite genres are probably action and crime (of friggin' course). As always, though, if it looks good, I'll watch it. If it looks like I might want to jump feet first into a plastic shredder thirty minutes in, I'll probably pass.

As for TV shows, I've mainly been keeping up with "24", "The Shield", "The Unit", "Lost", and "Heroes".
