Novels: The Song Is You, Die a Little and, in June, Queenpin, about an aging gang moll and her young protegee.
Nonfiction: The Street Was Mine, which focuses on the "tough guy" figure in hardboiled fiction and film noir.
Megan, We met at Suspense Night in St. Louis last year. I immediaely went home and told my wife I've got a new author I think you'll like. She read Queenpin & loved it. We had a picture taken with myself, you & Reed & Scott & Susan. I gave Reed a 8 X 10 & he sent me an e-mail wanting me to send you a picture via e-mail but I dont have a scanner. I'd be glad to send you a picture if I can mail it to you, or I could mail it to Reed & have him send it to you. I'm glad to see your books are doing well & it was a pleasure meeting you. You were very kind.
Big fan, Megan. Met Christa Faust and Eddie Muller at the book expo here in LA a few months back. Eddie tells me he's adapting THE SONG IS YOU for the screen. CAN'T WAIT to see it ... XOXOXO
OMG! Super-duper-pow congrats! I'm so freakin' thrilled - QUEENPIN was one of my absolute favorite reads last year. So glad to see you get the props you deserve.
