What Price Fame?

I just read the blog 'Lone Wolf vs. Sheep' and (after leaving a comment) got to thinking about what I said. I do stand by it except I would add that I would enjoy making a little more money off my novel, but not at the expense of substituting marketing for writing time which, in this day and age anyway, means it'll probably make very little. But that's okay because (at my age) I don't have that much time to get the rest of my novels out there...and by rest, I mean at least ten (three done and… Continue

Novel Available

My first novel, 'Broken City', of a triology based on the files of PI Hamilton Shamrock is now available at www.lulu.com/content/1374439. Would like to hear from anyone who is self-published about their marketing strategy.

Hi Robert - thanks so much for your warm welcome to crimespace. When I lived in the US (during the late 1980's) I met so many people who either had been or were still stationed in Germany. There's something to be said for the Army as an instigator of cultural exchange between Germany and the US :-).

You never know. There is a retired police chief in some remote Wisc. town who called me 3 months ago about a serial killer who she thinks was a classmate of mine at med school...carves up his bodies ie Silence of the lambs and has been caught several times had trials and as his own atty always has been found interesting.. Now one can never use this in a novel as it is too incredyble and would not be believed. Bruce
