There's a lot going on at L&L Dreamspell!

I set up this Crimespace page last year, and then got busy with all the new books and other projects at L&L Dreamspell - now I'm back to give everyone an update!

We've published a lot of new books - a lot of them mystery novels (all the L&L Dreamspell books are available on Amazon, B&N, and other web stores, and can be ordered through brick and mortar bookstores.) Two new books are anthologies of short stories, also in the mystery genre. "Dead and Breakfast" by the Final Tw

Dance on His Grave by Sylvia Dickey Smith

Just published in May 2007, this red hot Mystery/Suspense novel is getting great reviews!

L&L Dreamspell is excited about Sylvia's work, and pleased to tell you that the sequel to this novel will be out in November 2007 - Wow! This is her "Third Eye" mystery series and features a wonderful main character called Sidra Smart - a rookie private eye.

I enjoyed creating the cover for this novel - it has so many elements from the story. Below you'll find a brief synopsis from the

I'm New! Welcome to my Crimespace page

Hello everyone! I'm new to the Ning network, and I'd like to tell you about myself. My name is Linda Houle and I live in the Houston, Texas area, USA.

In early 2006 Lisa Rene' Smith and I started L&L Dreamspell, what I like to call a "micro-publishing company" - that also means "small press!"

We decided we'd like to handle everything for our own books, then go on to publish works by other talented authors. We're certainly well on our way now in 2007, and growing fast.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
