The founder Rachel Smith is an avid reader and has been since the early 70’s. She enjoys primarily paranormal fiction, but can occasionally be caught reading non-fiction, chic lit or books on esoteric subjects. When not reviewing books you can find her blogging about her favorite products at or creating custom perfume blends and doing readings at her other business Fragrant Soul. Rachel has worked as a spiritual counselor and teacher for many years. When not reading or hanging out online this Pacific Northwest native enjoys spending time with her husband, playing with her gaggle of doxons and listening to music.
