Thanks so much for inviting me, and I hope folks dip over and take a look at your websites. They are good. Will let you know that besides working on another Bridget O'Hern mystery (Death Tours in Ireland), I've started a new sleuth, Aunt Amelia (Winthrope) in a Golden Age mystery. It's Murder Visits Antigua, and I am having fun with it. Of course, I've been to Antigua in the Caribbean several times, living in a village as opposed to a hotel/resort. Have interviewed and chatted several times with a former Leeward Islands (includes Antigua) Deputy Police Commissioner, and what fun and learning that has been! Just returned from Barbados where already, ideas are forming for aMurder Visits Barbados. (Yup, I'm fortunate to be able to travel with my daugher and her family.)
Dawn, if you have the time, dip over to Amazon.com/Shorts and take a look at my short story, "Antiguan Memories," that is published there. Pleased about that. It's kind of a speculative piece set on the island in the 1930s and involves a disillusioned Anglican priest. a mute African Antiguan boy, and a murdered slave girl's spirit.
Best to you,
Pat
