Here I am hunting again for a lit agent and/or publisher for A Taste of Old Revenge, the second book in my Turner Hahn/Frank Morales sereis.
What gets me is this; go to all the sites that lists agents and what you get are the same lists over and over again. The same names. The same agencies. If, in the past you contacted them once and they said not only no but 'Hell, no!" what's to make me think they're going to change their minds?

What the hell. I want to do something a writer like Earle Stanley Gardner did on a regular basis. Seems like he could write an entire Perry Mason novel in a little over a month's time. And he put out a TON of them while he lived. Now the quality of writing might be something to be desired (although I happen to like his clean, terse style) nevertheless, the quantity of his work is impressive.
So I'm thinking, why not give it a try? Why not hammer out a Turner…
