I think I mentioned...about a million years ago...that I was invited to participate in an anthology titled How I Got Published. Well, until a few days ago, I didn't know if my essay would be included in the final cut.
Guess what. It was!
The book is now available on Amazon for pre-order, and should be ready to ship on September 14th. According to Amazon:
Contributors include: Christompher Moore, Clive Cussler, J.A. Jance, Gayle Lynds, JA Konrath, John Lescroart, David Morrell, Kathi Kamen Goldmark, Stephen White, Hallie Ephron, Stephen Coonts, Sue Ann Jaffarian, Dave Barry, MJ Rose, Jerry B. Jenkins, and dozens of other published authors.
You got it! I'm one of the "dozens of other published authors."
Hey, that's okay. My name is out there...in a Writers Digest book. With my website address! At the time I originally wrote the piece, I'd only sold one book. Now I'm under contract for four more.
My topic is critiquing--my personal horror story and how I didn't allow that experience to keep me from writing and getting published.
From the book's description: "Everybody loves a success story, and this book will leave you feeling energized and upbeat about finding your way."
I hope you'll check it out!
