Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for adding me. I have a Crime Faction novel, Sayonara that has been requested by a Publisher.
How's your writing going?
Cheers, Karen :))

Thanks, Sally. Last one did not get thru. Sent you a Fbook message months ago but that one must not have made it either. Down in LA at end of next month on whirlwind tour. Whassup with you? Hugs.

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”
Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."
Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"
Book Synopsis:
The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.
Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.
The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July and that the holiday weekend was great, too! (Sorry this is late--we had a death in the family.)
I've sent you an invitation to be my friend here on Crime Space and I do hope you'll accept. After I get my laptop back from being repaired, I plan on reading the chapters of your manuscript, "The Hellraiser of the Hollywood Hills: A McAfee Twins Novel," so that I can write a review on Amazon, be entered into the contest, and help you to win the "Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award!" (It is still going on, right? I wasn't positive because the year wasn't posted on the end of "to be held on March 31st" (on your website) So many people forget to update their sites, you know what I mean? (just an observation by an annoying and picky perfectionist!) It probably is because you have it on your Crime Space page, too.
Have a great week and I hope to talk to you again soon. Cynde
You were there? Oh, please! If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock. I was actually at Woodstock. That was a weird gig. I fed off a flower person, and I spent the next six hours watching my hand move."
Not everyone understands humor at its essential, darkest, level. I actually do consider it a sign of brilliance. People can be very good at learning facts, but the intuitive grasp of the irony of human existence that is true intelligence. Good to meet another one, J.

Hi Jennifer,
Love your reading list and favorite movies and tv shows. And I have great admiration for anyone who admits to watching 'Buffy." (Secret here: I've seen every episode multiple times.) I'm an ex longshoreman, one time truck driver all before I became a school teacher, now retired. As for the 'Buffy' weakness, I'm not proud of that. I'm supposed to be a tough guy, but you admit it. Maybe that makes you tougher than me. Great to run into someone with a sense of humor. Len
Jennifer- Thanks for your note. Ken Bruen is absolutely charming. And his books are just amazing. I love the guy. And Julia Spencer-Fleming is wonderful. Just one note -- read them in order. It's important. And hurry up, so we can talk about them!
There is something about this list that draws people with similar interests. I guess calling it "Crimespace," has something to do with it. But your the first Keith Olberman fan I've seen. I get a daily fix with Hardball and Keith.
Hi Jennifer
Interesting mix of humor and crime in your "like" section. I totally understand that. I just haven't figured out how to combine those elements in my writing. Some people do it very successfully though.

Although every thing you wrote is so damn true it hurts.
