Hi Elizabeth, thanks for the invitation. And just think fo the example of the british author Mary Wesley. She wrote her first novel for adults at the age of 71, had her biggest hit, The Camomile Lawn, a year later and sold over 3 million books before dying at 90. So you're just a spring chicken, a mere slip of a girl, perhaps even a little young and inexperienced to be considering a literary career just yet!
Hi,
I’m looking forward to sharing writing experiences with you.
I have “finished” a mystery novel, still needing some fact checking and editing. My plan is to hire an editor and then put it on a print and demand website such as lulu.com.
Reason: I don’t want the hassle of trying to sell and promote it. Yet don’t want it to land in a drawer, as some kind of hobby product.
Any thoughts? Any suggestions for an editor? Your opinions are welcomed.
Thanks,
Joan
Thanks for the invite Elizbeth - loved reading your profile -- you sound like a very interesting person can't wait to hear more and read some of your work. Congratulatons on your publishing coup -

Hey Elizabeth! Thanks for friending me. I blush to admit I hadn't heard about your book, but after visiting your website, I am truly going to check it out! sounds too good!!
Hi Elizabeth, Good to meet you and congratulations on your mystery. I'm probably the slowest runner north of the border so we have something in common!
Brenda
Thanks for inviting me, Elizabeth. I think you have a great name for your mystery and plenty of time to publicise it before its release. Good luck with it.
Checking in after having a great time at Malice Domestic, where Sisters in Crime swept the Agatha awards to loud whoops and hollers from the rest of us. I'm especially proud of fellow Guppies: Sandy Parshall, whose HEAT OF THE MOON took the Agatha for Best First Novel, Chris Roerden, nonfiction Agatha winner for DON'T MURDER YOUR MYSTERY, and Malice Best First Novel winner Meredith Cole, whose book will be published by St. Martin's around the same time as mine (a year from now).
Thanks for the add, Elizabeth. I love John Barth too. I remember reading Giles Goat Boy decades ago and thinking "This will NEVER make it into Readers Digest Condensed Books!"
Thanks for the invitation to be a friend. I really enjoyed your articles, especially about the shades of moral ambiguity. I really like characters who are not all black and all white - in a moral sense. :-)
