Yes, I'm a runner, primarily. I took up running about two years ago and ran my first 5k two weeks before turning 40. I just ran my first half marathon at the end of March. Enjoyed it enough that I already have two more scheduled for this year!

Deborah - I am also at the beck and call of a Shannon - but she's my eight-year old daughter. Her and the six other children who insist on calling me Mom. BTW, I love Jack Russell terriers. We have Bichons, but only because they are excellent w/little little ones. And they don't shed.

And House? One of my favorites. Plus, when you say you're an athlete, are you a runner? I've written some articles on Iron marathon participants (oh... my... GOD!!!), and just writing about them made my muscles sore. What is your specific athletic genre?
