During the month of May, I will visit sixteen blogs, be interviewed twice on Internet radio shows, and visit the Barnes & Noble online mystery book club to promote the May 15 release of the second book in my Claire Hanover gift basket designer mystery series, To Hell in a Handbasket.

Every time you comment on one of my guest blog posts, or comment on my blog during the tour, you will be entered into a drawing for an autographed set of both books in the Claire Hanover gift basket designer mystery series. So, besides supporting a fellow Crimespace member and seeing an example of a virtual tour, you'll have a chance to win something!

Lastly, local bookstore, Black Cat Books, is supporting my virtual tour by being a sales source for autographed copies of either To Hell in a Handbasket or A Real Basket Case at http://manitoubooks.com/

Did this take a lot of planning and preparation? You betcha!

You can see the full schedule of my tour at:

The fun starts May first!

Today, reporter Ina Bigjam from the Summit Daily News interviews Judy Hanover at Lesa's Book Critiques (http://lesasbookcritiques.blogspot.com/). Judy is the daughter of gift basket designer Claire Hanover and was the first on the scene of Stephanie's on-the-ski-slope accident in To Hell in a Handbasket. Both Judy and I will be available to answer questions at the blog, so join in the fun!
Tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10 am EST, 7 am PST, I will be interviewed by Fran Stewart on her "Mystery Matters" Internet radio show at VoiceAmerica:

You can either listen to it live or tune in later by selecting the show from the May 2009 archives.

I had prepared a Mystery Lovers Gift Basket recipe article to be posted at the Gift Basket Business Blog today, but it didn't happen and the hostess didn't respond to e-mails. Hopefully if she's ill, she'll be recovered enough to post it tomorrow, and I'll be able to respond to comments after my session with Fran. That link is:

Today and tomorrow, I am discussing "Mothers and the Daughters Who Leave Them" at Poe's Deadly Daughter's. Please stop by and comment to enter a contest for autographed copies of A Real Basket Case and To Hell in a Handbasket: http://www.poesdeadlydaughters.blogspot.com/
I'm winding up my blog book tour today at Jungle Red Writers (http://www.jungleredwriters.com/), where I talk about what I've learned--and am still learning--about book promotion. I share a few thoughts about the blog tour itself, as well as in-person appearances, which is timely, since I'm embarking on a two-week book signing trip Saturday. If there's any other aspect of book promotion you'd like to discuss or ask me about, please make a comment there!

If you want to read any of my past articles or listen to my Internet radio interviews, follow the links posted on: http://bethgroundwater.com/Book_Blog_Tour.html
