I noticed the web site looks like the ultimate in vanity publishing!

I supposed if a blogger is a recognized expert in a field, hobby or area of knowledge, of if they are a recognized leader of some manner in an area, and if the blog is solid information, a collection would be possible and folks would likely buy it.

I've actually had readers ask me to write a book based on my blog, but because of my subject matter (the business behind pop culture) I feel that I have to make it a little more meaty than presenting just a collection of my daily rants.

I'm 100,000+ words into it, and I'm nowhere near finished, especially with all the extra research needed. I feel that if you're going to write a book on a topic, it's best to not pull stuff out of your ass thin air.
