L.A. REQUIEM

DARKNESS TAKE MY HAND

EVERYBODY DIES

Good ones. Love Misery and L.A.Requiem, but my favorite is DARKNESS TAKE MY HAND.

Wake Up Dead by Roger Smith

Actually, I always liked What to Do in Denver When You're Dead ...

Saw one called "Scuse Me While I Kill This Guy"

I REALLY like "Death: An Introduction"  but it's poetry, not crime.   Shame.  Of course, it's still available.  :-)

Hmm.  Sounds depressing.

Just published THE LEFT-HANDED GOD. Things aren't perfect in His creation.

The Alienist by Caleb Carr

Skinwalkers by Tony Hillerman

The Killer Inside Me by Jim Thompson

Love all the cool titles. How about favorite first lines??   Here's mine.

"This gun is not a gun."

[from the granddaddy of all spy novelists, John LeCarre in Single & Single.

"Wake the Undertaker," by Joe Clifford

I like it. In fact I liked it so much I went to Amazon and checked out the description. Sounds like a cool book. I added it to my wish list.
