Every now and again, I get the urge to return to the literary womb. So I gather up a pile of oldies but irreplaceable goodies to read. I recently rummaged and have Jane Eyre, The Wolves of Whillowby Chase, Gone With the Wind (Although an adult book, it counts since my first attempt to read it was at 8 because I thought it was about a tornado, I think I finally read it at 12.) Little Women AND Men, The Hobbit, and White Fang and Lad, A Dog. I also added Nancy Drew and The Hidden Staircase, just for kicks.

What would be in your TBRe-R pile, and remember nothing you may have read after the age of 13 is allowed!

Goethe and Karl Mai. :) I was precocious. But I don't want to read them again.
I was obsessed with John O'Hara novels such From the Terrace after age ten. Earlier I loved the novels of Maude Hart Lovelace and those shoe books such as Dancing Shoes, Theater Shoes. Noel Stand, perhaps. And all the usual suspects, of course.
