I have a fondness for British crime authors - and Simon Kernick is one of them. He's perhaps not as well known as some of his counterparts in North America, but is worth checking out.…

The Arts & Crafts Bazaar at Fort Belvoir Oktoberfest wasn't quite what I expected. The field house that held the bazaar was a couple miles away from the carnival rides and other attractions, so there wasn't as much traffic as I thought there would be. Still, I met some nice folks and signed a fair number of books.
Also my review of The Warlord of Willow Ridge by Gary Phillips is in The Big Thrill, the newsletter of the International Thriller Writers. Whether you’re looking for a…

Back in April this year, I fired off a story in the general direction of that award winning home of fine fiction, Thrillers, Killers 'N' Chillers.
I had forgotten all about it, (or maybe subconsciously I just blocked it out) until an e-mail from new crime editor and former Flash Fiction Offensive head honcho, David Barber hit my in box the other week.
David had found my beer stained, unintelligible scribble languishing…

This weekend I will be signing my novels at the Oktoberfest Arts & Crafts Bazaar at Fort Belvoir. Like in Germany, this Oktoberfest is a community wide event that celebrates the season with carnival rides, authentic traditional food, and an Arts & Crafts Bazaar!
The Belvoir Enlisted Spouses’ Club hosts the Arts & Crafts Bazaar each year as their major fundraiser for their Military Dependent Scholarship Fund. So come on out, get your autographed novels, and make their event…

The Reading Divas Book Club’s official reviewer said some very nice things about Damaged Goods on Amazon. Because her five-star review represents a group of tough-minded and picky readers I made it the featured review on my web site. http://ww.ascamacho.com

If you head over to Out Of The Gutter you'll be staring down the barrel of my latest. 'The Legend of Johnny Kool' is a story I've wanted to write for a while. I guess you could call it fan fiction, but not in the way you're thinking. Celebrity can be a blessing and a curse or so I'm told, it's not something I'll ever need to worry about!
