    Hi Patricia :)
  • Brian Thornton

Hot-damn! Another Rare Bird joined up and visible! Lovely to see you here and thanks for the friending, Patricia. You ought to lurk less, that way people like *me* would learn more, rather than the other way around!
  • bill bedenbender

Hello Patricia, good to see you here also. Looks like there are alot of people from 4MA here.
  • Mary Saums

Hi, Patricia! I like this place. It may take me a while to find my way around. So many interesting things to read ...
  • LC Fraser

Happy Easter Patricia --- in case you missed it on Moldy we had easter bunny tracks (well rabbit tracks if you insist) right up to the front door. Needless to say the ten year old was thrilled.
  • Tim Maleeny

Patricia, sorry I set you back a few bucks. I'll be anxious to hear what you think of the book. Thanks for adding me to your list!
  • Michael Koryta

Thanks. Seems like a great site.
  • Deborah Pesa

Hello fellow RAMmer! Thanks for the invite.
  • Deborah Turrell Atkinson

    Hi Patricia,
No, I haven't seen Hustle--you think I can rent it on Netflix? (love that resource!) I'm going to check it out. Is it a BBC production?
  • Gina Micale

Wow, I finally made it to you Patricia. Still learning the ropes over here.
  • Laura Benedict

Hi, Patricia. Nice to meet you! Blessings--Laura
  • Laura Benedict

I'm so grateful that you took the time to go to the website! Thank you!

David C is such a neat guy. He and I have the same editor. I really need to get to The Devil's Redhead. So many books....
  • LC Fraser

Oh good Patricia! Do I get to be questionable or seedy or both? I think I would prefer questionable. Sounds more refined somehow. (snort!)
  • Rose

Brookins is from Minnesota. What does he know about seedy characters? We are too Norweign to be seedy.
I would rather just be mysterious myself, if I could remember how.
  • Eileen

Yup, it's York. We have been going up there since I was in college. My brother had the good sense to go out with a girl whose parents had a cottage in York. And they were kind enough to invite all of us to spend time there. My older sister lives there full time and my brother now owns his in-laws house near Nubble.
  • Mary Saums

I love the photos you've added. World traveler!
  • Rose

Thanks. Like the look of your page too. And the pictures.
  • LC Fraser

Hey girl! Thanks for the card! We did not get mail picked up till today. Memorial service is over, life goes back to what? Normal? At my house? Oh well.
  • Brianna Martini

    Hello Patricia,
Happy Mother's Day to all of you ladies on board!
    Brianna Martini
  • Vicki Delany

Thank! I'm looking forward to being part of it.
  • Declan Burke

Hi Patricia, thanks a million for the welcome, it's really appreciated. I just saw Ken Bruen flashing by there in your photos ... the guy is a true gentleman, and a fabulous writer. Your taste is obviously impeccable ...! Cheers, Declan
  • Robin Burcell

    Patricia, Thanks for the invite!
  • Vicki Delany

I just noticed that you're from Toronto. I escaped the towers of Bay and King Streets, and the leafy suburbs of Oakville just a couple of months ago. I was fortunate enough to take early retirement from my job at RBC, and I came out to BC for a time. I'm house sitting, and having a great time. If you're interested in reading about my life as a farmer, please go to http://typem4murder.blogspot.com. But, true Ontarioian that I am, I'll be back in the spring. Best,
  • JackBludis

Ah, Poe's Grave, a popular site in Baltimore. Did you know that the Baltimore Ravens were names after Poe's Poem?
  • Rose

    Thanks, Patricia.

Still don't know anything defiinite. Except more speialists have been added to the mix, and more test scheduled. Just sent update to Bev.
  • JackBludis

    Patricia--

Based on your comment on my page:

A side note about the name of the Baltimore Ravens name. Incidentlally, it was the Baltimore fans's insistence that the name *Browns* and its history remain in Cleveland.

In a fan survey, the fans were given choices of *Bombers* after the WWII manufacture of the B-24 during WWII in Baltimore and *The Americans,* after the penning of the the National Anthem at Fort McHenry, another great tourist site. Someone suggested *Ravens* and it became an overwhelming write-in favorite.

Patricia, thanks for your kind words about Stealing The Dragon. Please tell your friends; tell your enemies, too. Thanks again...I hope we cross paths at some upcoming convention.
  • Lois Reibach

Thanks for the invite. I really liked your photos.
  • Tony Black

Hey Patricia...thanks for the comment! Nice, nice words...
  • LC Fraser

I am not even awake yet and you have me laughing. Talk about needing coffee ..... we could all be the birdhouse (okay I am REALLY not awake here) - you know the one I mean? Twenty of us could have roles in that thing.
  • LC Fraser

For me it took me back to when a friend put a chair on his head to do his Bullwinkle imitation. In a restaurant. In Toronto. I wasn't even there but the story lives on.
  • Jeremy Lynch

    Hey Miz Pat...

Just thought I would say Hey.
  • Cara Black

Allo Pat, Nice to hear from you!
  • Cara Black

Nice to be your friend, Pat!
  • Rick Mofina

    Hi Pat:
Thanks so much for the welcome. I appreciate hearing from readers who are expert in crime fiction.
Hope to chat more in the future. Now, it's back to writing!
    Rick
  • Merrill Young

    Hey Patricia!
Jack is moonlight-bartending at his Crimespace site. Come have a drink!
  • Karen from AustCrime

Hi Patricia - I've noticed you're back around - the babies are beautiful when they are asleep - awake, well they're a nightmare :)
  • Naomi Hirahara

Hi, Patricia! Thanks for the invite. Were you at the Toronto B'con? My friends and I had such a great time there.
  • Gary Warren Niebuhr

Hi, Pat: Good to hear from you. Heading to Alaska? Are you on the Bcon Standing Committee?
  • Wendy B.

Hello, Patricia! It's nice to see someone else who is in Canada on here! :)
  • Timothy Hallinan

    Hi, Patricia --

Oh, if only there were 25 million other people who read the way you do. I could go to my signings in a chauffeured Rolls Royce instead of a battered Mazda.

    Tim
  • Rosemary Harris

    Hi Patricia,
Nice to meet you! I'm registered for almost all of the cons next year, so I hope I get to meet you. I blog with 3 other mystery writers at www.jungleredwriters.com, stop by and say hello.
  • Jim Barker

    Thanks Patricia

I've been getting bored with RAM recently so I thought I's try over here. The fact that i became member Number 900 had a good deal in persuading me... :)

  • Mary

    Hi Patricia
Thanks for the invite. I am reasonably new to reading crime fiction - so I have some way to go to catch up with you.!
  • Clea Simon

Hi Patricia! We must know each other from 4MA -- were you at the Malice lunch this year? Will have to check out the other sites you're on.
  • Clea Simon

Ah well, Malice is a great con but there were so many people at the 4MA lunch Dawn Dowdle organized that I didn't get to meet half of them. Do you get to any of the conventions? Next con I'm going to, I believe, is Murder in the Magic City (Feb., Birmingham, Alabama).
  • LC Fraser

Hey Patricia --- nice to see you found Clea. We all need more cat people right?

How did the bird feeder picture turn out? Better than mine?
