The new anthology from those great folks over at Busted Flush is out and you should snag one (or a few). Not only does it feature a short story by yours truly, but it is edited by the great Megan Abbott and the stories ROCK. Just think, an anthology of noir stories featuring the types of female characters that usually play second fiddle showing up as the protaganists. That's worth the price of admission alone!

I love this show. Like obsessively. I have the DVDs and I try to watch it whenever it's on television which is no easy feat because it's almost always on television. Next to my husband, I think Vincent D'Onofrio is one of the hottest dudes out there.

I was trapped in Atlanta-Hartsfield airport for hours last night trying to make it back to LaGuardia. We were told that due to high winds all air traffic was delayed and once we got on the plane we would have to wait on the runway for 45 minutes to an hour. My better half has relocated to ATL and since I was already in West Palm Beach last week on business I flew down for a long weekend. I'm not surprised that you had terrible Pad Thai in Atlanta. Come out to L.A. sometime - we've got the largest Thai community in the world outside of Thailand, and we've got plenty of fantastic places to eat. Atlanta's got us beat for fried chicken though.
I haven't really had the chance to spend much time in Atlanta to gauge the cultural change. I will say that I had the worst Pad Thai ever in ATL and I was severely bummed.
