I write Suburban Noir fiction. I'm the author of the novel, "The Demise Of The Soccer Moms". My short stories have appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine and in the eZine, EveryDayFiction.
Thanks for the contact. Kudos on your magazine publications. I'd like to look into those possibilities. It's interesting to read all the comments. Best wishes for continued writing success! Molly
. Ruth R. is one of a few writers whose books I can read multiple times.
Absolutely! I've read everything she's written, including marvelous short stories. I recently started re-reading "Brimstone Wedding," but have put it aside to read some other things. Short stories are a good way to start writing, I think. Many fine crime writers have excellent short stories. Good luck to you!
Hi Cathryn, I see from your profile that we like a number of the same authors and films!
As you may know from my posts I'm a "huge" Ruth Rendell fan. I also like Highsmith--talk about getting "inside" the mind of a psychopath. And I think Fargo is perhaps the best suspense film since anything Hitchcock!
I look forward to checking out your books.
well hi and thank you! i'm kind of renegade here, i broke out and got into sci fi and horror and am on a roll now!
but i won't leave CS because i love it!
thanks for the add!
Thanks for the invitation on Crimespace, Cathryn. Have a great day. ... Mark

Remember Goofus and Gallant?
Read all about Goofus's drift to the dark side in 'Always the bad example.'
No wood chipper scene, I promise.

Thanks for the friendship.
You look far too sweet to appreciate the twisted elegance of Fargo. I picture you averting your eyes during the woodshed scene.
