About Me:
I´m a 29 year old, crazy, swedish lady who likes cats and music. Oh, and I also have a big dream of becoming a writer. I´m working as a cop right now but hopefully I can kiss the swedish State goodbye someday and create my own world instead. More info to come...
I Am A:
Reader, Writer
Books And Authors I Like:
Anne Holt, Camilla Läckberg....some more swedish writers none of u americans know of. Oh and Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is brilliant! And no, I don´t like the Stieg Larsson books that have become SO popular even abroad. The girl with the dragon tatoo is one of the worst books I´ve ever read.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Bridges of Madison county
The usual suspects
Magnolia
Pulp Fiction
Ghost

Hi Sanna,

I'm the European editor for Noir Nation, and I would love to get some stories from Sweden for Issue 2  (Issue 1 will be available Sept 1, 2011).  Looking for short stories and graphic stories (comics).  Maybe you have some, and could also help spread the word?  We start reading for issue 2 on Oct 1.

Thank you,

Alan

Dear Sanna,
I am very interested in one aspect of your work. I confess I only have fiction writer's ideas of what your work is like as compared to - say U.S. but some problems must be the same. I have been truly riveted by the few Swedish movies about police investigations that reach here. (per ex: Max von Sydow and the parrot.) Also liked the Wahloo Beck series.

I am collecting incidents an stories about Personal Electronic Devices [PEDs] as encountered in your work setting, and I am also setting up a site for LEO's to talk to each other about these PEDs, even as I take a break from doing it to comment to you. Feel free to comment back. (My grandfather was a C.O.P. across the water from you, pre-Soviet/3rd Reich era, which he survived.) I am now in L.A., home of Hollywood. This is part of researching a current project, as well as an information sharing forum. If you would like I'll send you a copy of my incident taxonomy for any comments you care to make. More later. - Sam Peds

Thanks for the compliment & checking out my YT page. Uhh, tips for requiem. You know, it's rather easily contructed if you just breakdown the parts. I'm a guitar player mainly so the intro on the cello is only three notes that grows when all the strings come in which are playing the same thing an octave higher.

Thanks back to you, Sanna! I'm trying to write a legal thriller! It'd be interesting to be famous, but for now-my big dreams are of being published! :-)

You're a cop? Greatest research capability in the world right there, though for talking to people outside of the job, they're much more likely to talk to a writer than to a cop. ;) What I'vew found works best for me may be second nature to you: I read a lot of crime non-fiction with no specific goal in mind. I do it to build up my general knowledge of crime and procedure, so that when stories start to come together in my head I have an idea of how they'll be constructed, then do specific research to fill in the gaps.

Have fun, and feel free to ask questions. There are a lot of nice and helpful people here.
