Books And Authors I Like:: Anne Holt, Camilla Läckberg....some more swedish writers none of u americans know of. Oh and Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy is brilliant! And no, I don´t like the Stieg Larsson books that have become SO popular even abroad. The girl with the dragon tatoo is one of the worst books I´ve ever read.

I am collecting incidents an stories about Personal Electronic Devices [PEDs] as encountered in your work setting, and I am also setting up a site for LEO's to talk to each other about these PEDs, even as I take a break from doing it to comment to you. Greatest research capability in the world right there, though for talking to people outside of the job, they're much more likely to talk to a writer than to a cop. ;) What I'vew found works best for me may be second nature to you: I read a lot of crime non-fiction with no specific goal in mind. I do it to build up my general knowledge of crime and procedure, so that when stories start to come together in my head I have an idea of how they'll be constructed, then do specific research to fill in the gaps.
