Yes, listing contributors to boost sales would be logical, but what does logic have to do with publishing? :)

Good point, John. The only hitch is that being listed in the table of contents won't pull the anthology up in a search on the author's name.

I agree with I.J. Amazon has been good to me. But I do wish they'd list the anthology contributors somewhere. I'm already in the CHESAPEAKE CRIMES anthology, and in March, I'll be in another called CHESAPEAKE CRIMES: THEY HAD IT COMIN'. The credit w…

My suggestion is to get on Twitter and raise a stink. That's what it took for me to reach a human being at Lulu.com. Albeit, my contact was by email, but it saved me from the endless recursions of being directed to useless FAQs that didn't solve my…

You bet it's remarkable. And with Harlequin starting a new "e-book only" line that accepts multiple genres . . . how remarkable is that? :) (FYI--This is not to be confused with the controversial Harlequin vanity press.)

About Me:
I'm a hardboiled mystery author and reader, with one novel, IDENTITY CRISIS, featuring Stephanie Ann "Sam" McRae, a female lawyer/sleuth, and short stories in the CHESAPEAKE CRIMES anthology and The Back Alley at http://BackAlleyWebzine.com. I'm currently seeking an agent/publisher for the sequel to IDENTITY CRISIS and have lots more ideas for more books in that series.

I've written three other novels--two Sam McRae novels and a crime caper. Currently, I'm working on a thriller.

I'll also have another short story published in CHESAPEAKE CRIMES: THEY HAD IT COMIN', to be released by Wildside Press in March 2010.

Debbie: Reese Hirsch just invited me to be his friend and I found you. Thanks for your tip for www.meetup.com. Also, you might check out www.mysteryreaders.org which lists other reading groups around the country. (100's) Send them a book and see what happens. I too, am a lawyer with over 30 years in courtrooms. This writing business is a lot more fun than lawyering!

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.
