About Me:: The IMP is a group of small to mid-sized independent publishers specializing in mystery, suspense, and thriller fiction, as well as related non-fiction. We share information, trade ideas, and work together on marketing projects such as IMPrints, our annual catalog.

Some of our other projects include such ventures as co-op advertising, ride-along mailings, representation at industry trade shows, centralized distribution for member publishers, as well as this website.

The mission of the IMP is to allow its member publishers access to reasonably priced, effective marketing for their titles through joint campaigns and cooperative programs, thereby making advertising that would normally be too costly for a single small press a viable option.

We constantly strive to find new and innovative ways to bring attention to the quality mystery-suspense fiction lines of our independent presses so that they may be enjoyed by readers worldwide.
