Author/artist. 4 novels: THE DEATH ARTIST, COLOR BLIND, THE KILLING ART, and ANATOMY OF FEAR which comes out on April 10, a illustrated novel of suspense.
Started my career as an artist and did well. Lost all my work in a fire and turned to writing. Now, doing both.
And yes, I did get the humourous backdrop of the killer stalking big-time art moguls.... ha ha. Very appropriate, given past events. But I will confess, I still found it scary. Have enjoyed every one of your very scary books tremendously!
Hi, Jonathan, my turn to tag you! Great to see you here.
Was reading some of your wall posts, and "Death Artist" came up. I believe I told you the story about how I came to read it years ago. Two friends of mine had been loaned one of the very first printed copies by a friend of theirs. I was on the deck at my cottage when they walked by and found me toiling away on my own manuscript. We got to talking, and one of them was carrying Death Artist. I finagled a promise to get his copy when he was done with it, and have read every one of your books since.
What a surprise to later meet you several years ago here in TO!!
Anyway, it has been my very great pleasure to get to know you. All the best, Donna www.donnacarrick.com
Hi nice to hear from you. didn't remember what I wrote, but then I did. truthfully, i am supersititious--but i don'tlet it run my life. I remember now about the fire-it did change your life--or, YOU did. so glad you're successful, too. all the best to you Jonathan for the Holidays and the New Year. You're a lovely person!
Jonathan, yes, I'm THE Steve Steinbock. But I'm not sure I qualify as a "THE." I enjoyed your promo video. Thanks (belated) for sending it. All is well. Hope to see you soon.
Cheers,
Steve
