Jochem van der Steen replied to Stacy's discussion Article: Are eBooks Too Cheap?: Indie Authors Question 99 Cent Price
"There is an awful lot of stuff out there, so if you want to get noticed you need a low price. That's why my stories sell for 99 cents. My full novel goes for 3 buck, still a steal if you ask me."

Hello,Thanks for the invite. Will take a look at your site later when time, just dashing this off before work starts today-as in marketing my thriller shortlisted for World Book Day. Then I can get back to some real writing. Always loved the PI genre. There's a PI in my thriller In For The Kill but unfortuntately he doesn't last long!

Thanks for the heads up on the sonsofspade interview with one of my favorite writers (and editors), Ed Gorman.

Thanks for the invite Jochem. I enjoyed your sons of spade site and see that we have the same taste in books. The PI novel will never die if I can help it.

Thanks for the comment, Jochem. I'll have to check out Sons of Spade. Maybe Al Forte has a place there.

Jochem, I like your authors list! I think we were separated at birth ... (though I'd add James Lee Burke and Lawrence Block, too)
