- About Me:
- Thomas Kaufman is the author of private eye novels STEAL THE SHOW and DRINK THE TEA, which won the PWA/St Martin's Press Best First PI Novel Competition. He is also an Emmy award- winning motion picture director/cameraman. Since graduating from the University of Southern California with an MFA in Film Production, he has worked as a Director of Photography on documentary, commercial, and fiction films. In addition to working as director/cameraman for National Geographic and Discovery Channels, Mr Kaufman has also shot documentaries for British Broadcasting Corporation, WGBH, WNET, and Academy Award-winners Mark Jonathan Harris, Charles Guggenheim, and Barbara Koppel. Mr Kaufman has twice won the Gordon Parks Award for Cinematography, and an Emmy for his documentary about deaf children, SEE WHAT I=M SAYING.

THE BIG CLOCK - tonight
Hi, everyone,
I'm happy that my first post here is about a great film noir that some of you may not know about: THE BIG CLOCK,starring Ray Milland and Charles Laughton. This film was directed by John Farrow (Mia's father) and is well worth seeing. It'll be on at midnight tonight on Turner Classic Movies. Or you might get it from Netflix. Or steal it from a neighbor...
