Hey there, Laura! Nice meeting you at HHCC recently. I read your book; awesome job. Lots of fun for many reasons. I really enjoyed it even if your protagonist is from Dallas ;)

Have you ever thought about doing signings at oil and gas related conventions like Houston's OTC or NAPE? I'll bet some of these companies would foot the bill to have you there signing, and the traffic would be high. I think OTC pulled 70,000 people this year in three days.

Maybe you could also promote through the SPE (www.spe.org). They have almost 80,000 well educated (and well funded) energy industry members. Sorry, I'm a marketing guy by day and can't help but give gratuitous and unsolicited advice.
