I try to avoid lists because my reading is always evolving. I tend to start a new author and if I like them, I'll read straight through their collection. I also often select books based on my travels, so, for example, I read all of Hillerman's books during a point in my life when I was making frequent trips to AZ and NM.

Please tell me about Sniplits, is this an audio site? I have always wanted to be a spoken reader. I have taken radio and computer class and understand the board, but I do not know how to break into this genre. I would appreciate any information. You can email me aughicks@gmail.com
How do I get on Sniplits?? Notice you're from Batavia. I'm driving down to B-Con on Thursday. Want to find a roommate, though. My hubby copped out at the last minute, which I can understand. Still got two kids attending high school. Doesn't want to leave them on their own.

This week's free story at Sniplits is "I'll Call You," by Mort Castle. If you like Stephen King (the psych horror - it's not a slasher), and have ever wondered who's there, in the middle of the night when the phone rings, give it a listen! It's narrated by Kurt Ehrmann.
Hi Anne,
Let's look for each other. It'll be great to meet you at Bouchercon.

We're featuring 3 crime stories at Sniplits this week! Our free story of the week is "Detour," by Libby Fischer Hellmann (you need to log-in to get it free), and we're also featuring "Call-Out" by Adrian Magson, and "Vista with Player," by R.A. Allen. You can hear samples of all three in my playlist.
I just added samples of Sniplits Crime/Mystery stories - ranging from humorous to horrifying. I hope you'll check them out! To get an entire story, visit Sniplits at http://www.sniplits.com
