Just finished Slide! Terrific! Bruen said part three makes SLIDE seem like a cozy, Jaysus!

A coincidence, in my book I referred to the Beatles "Let it Be." And mentioned John Lennon, implying he was the performer. Similar to page 158 in SLIDE. A beautiful dark haired woman set me straight. You should be so lucky.

Hope to see you again at next year's L. A. Times Festival of Books, or sooner if you’re going to be here on the Coast before then.
