Don't think I'll congratulate you on having someone killed outside your house, but I didn find myself reading it and thinking that all those TV cop shows are so boringly *not* true to life compared to your account. Of course you chatted to one of ...
I feel I should confess up front that I don't actually read or write that much crime, though I did dismember someone for my latest book. Outside of books, I occasionally make short films and I get paid for doing things with computers.

Hello. Good to meet you too. No, I haven't fully recovered, but when I do I am going to start plotting my revenge on Donna for next year...
Cheers
Chris
Err, yes. Yes, I am. Albeit entirely unintentionally. The pic actually came from a series of four I posted to my blog showing how my eyewear had changed over the years and this is the one that shows the latest pair.
Though converting it to black and white I suppose makes it a bit more brooding by default (by broody you did mean brooding, didn't you? And not that I was expressing a need to birth offspring? :)
Hi Rhonda - you had me scratching me head for a moment wondering who Uncle Al was, then I looked out of the window and saw a blonde jumping out of a clocktower and I made the connection. Congratulations on having worked with SAP and then stopping - I've spent all week to'ing and fro'ing with some of their developers and consultants trying to get a raft of bugs fixed. Unusually, they've been quite responsive.
Vincent - LOL at the Mr Tumnus comment:o) OK - it was a very butch, manly and ruggedly handsome faun. That better? I'm sorry I didn't get to see you on Sunday. I looked out for you but you cleverly avoided me - I kept seeing this flash of dark and manly faun jumping to hide behind a pillar. You missed a goodbye hug - think yourself lucky. But I will NOT let you get away with that :o)
Jools - you definitely had more to put up with than I did. Thank you both very much.
HI Vincent - it was good to meet you, too! And whilst I am quietly hopeful of royal recognition of my triumph in putting up with Donna for the weekend, I fear her commendation for putting up with me may well eclipse it. There's talk of a bronze statue. Or at the very least, her name spelled out in concrete in the paw prints of a 'plumbing noir' aardvark outside Buckingham Palace.
Hi Vincent - thank you for the friend invite. I shall assume that this means I am forgiven (deny it all you like).I see you've put a new post up on the forum that I can heck...errrrr...make extremely intelligent, helpful and informed comments on. Above all - helpful.
Actually, I've just read your chatterwall and I see it is. Not that evil poisonous spiders make me nervous or anything, but I know when I last visited my brother (he lives in Sydney) I always checked my shoes before putting them on of a morning.
Then there's that statistic about the number of spiders a person eats while they're asleep...
