Children's Mystery Book Becoming an Amusement Park Ride

TJ Perkins has been around for 6 years and her books are steadily becoming more and more popular. In 2006 she signed with dark ride manufacturer Alterface to bring her idea of a scary family amusement park ride to life. Holiday and review

We're back! Had a great time on hols, once we'd finished with the rainy days. And in fact even they weren't bad either.

Holiday highlights included:

1. Lord H's comment that if people simply pressed the "off" button on the wind turbines, then everything would be much calmer. Not sure he's got the hang of what a wind turbine does. (I love 'em, by the way. They're soooo elegant - like giraffes in Prada).

Strawberry Shortcake and Book Signing in Maryland!

While I'm signing books Saturday I will also be indulging my sweet tooth, but in a fairly healthy way. You can too, and support a good cause, by joining me at the Strawberry Festival put on by the Catonsville Presbyterian Church from 10 am to 2 pm. Summer Dreams

Just back from a mini-break in (of all places) Marbella. I say mini-break because, according to the wife, it doesn't become a holiday until you are away for more than 5 nights - I wish I'd understood this subtlety when I booked it, as apparently this means we still need to go away again on a "proper" family vacation! After two years in print, I finally got a HOODTOWN review in Wrestling Observer! I finally feel legit.
